Short Box

Last night I did just a little bit of searching. While I was searching my wife put together a mural in the nursery. I like the idea of murals, but don't like the idea of something permanent that I'll have to paint over one day. These removable stickers she got were a great find.

I started things out with some hand rolls I got, 160 quarters, 50 dimes, and 40 nickels. They were all skunks.

I next went through four boxes of pennies, 9,950 coins. One of the boxes was short a roll. This is the first time I've been shorted a whole roll. I'm glad it was a box of pennies and not a box of halves or quarters because they're $10 a roll. In the boxes I found sixty-eight Wheats, seventy-four Canadians, and one Panama 1¢. The Panama cent is a bit different than the ones I have found before.

The mix of Wheats was good, but it sure feels like a while since I've found one for my albums. The summary:

1918, 1920(2), 1937, 1940, 1940S, 1941(2), 1941D, 1942D, 1944(6), 1945(4), 1945D, 1946(7), 1946D, 1947, 1947D(2), 1950, 1951, 1952, 1952D(3), 1953(2), 1953D(2), 1954, 1955(4), 1956(3), 1957(3), 1957D(6), 1958, 1958D(4)

Found: 1 penny (at Sovereign Bank)
