Last night I worked my way through two boxes of nickels, 4,000 coins. In them I found one dateless Buffalo, three War Times (3 x 1943P), and eleven Canadians. On Monday I ordered some supplies to make a Maritime Province album and a bottle of Nic-A-Date. I'm hoping to use Nic-A-Date on the two dozen or so dateless Buffaloes I've found. It's a mild acid and it helps reveal a worn off date because the density of the metal is slightly different between the numbers and the background. Last night I thought, "gee, maybe I'll find another dateless Buffalo or something" ... and then I found one.
