Last From Source #2
Last night I searched the last halves from source #2, 10,000 coins. In them was one 90% silver half (1964), six 40% silver halves (2 x 1966, 4 x 1967), one proof half (1977S), and two mint set halves (2002D, 2005P). Not too great.
Meg, Henry, and I also went out for Indian food. It was our first time there with the little guy. He did well. It is amazing how agreeable he's been for all the times we've taken him out together. How long can it last?

Did you feed Henry any indian food? I'm really curious as to what he might have had and what he thought of it.
Just a thought.. ;-)
Sorry to hear about source #2. How do you get rid of all the extra coins when you are done searching?
No Indian food for the little guy just yet. He's just been eating mushed up apples, bananas, sweet potato, zuchini, and soon beans. Before long though we'll have him trying most everything we eat. We want him to be as open to new things as possible. We'll see.
Waste coins? I use a free coin counter at times, other times I use the coin counters in the supermarket and get Amazon gift certificates with the coins, and still other times I just reroll them.
How you are able to go through hundreds and thousands of coins in a night? I go through a hundred dollars worth and I'm done. Are you also checking for errors.
Mango and Blueberries are something my Henry loves.
Hey. It depends on the coin, if it is halves, quarters, or dimes I just look at the rims. (With halves I also check rims that look thick and shiny, for proofs and mint set coins, etc.) For dollars, nickels, and pennies I look at each coin. I don't flip presidential dollars, memorial pennies, or nickels with Monticello and no D/S. I don't check for errors I can't see without a magnifying glass.
