10,000+!

Last night I did a lot of coin hunting. I searched 10,600 coins. The results were OK, but I still had fun.

I searched 6,079 halves (6 boxes and some hand rolled) and found one 90% silver half (1941) and eighteen 40% silver halves (4 x 1965, 2 x 1966, 4 x 1967, 6 x 1968D, 2 x 1969D).

I also looked through 3,480 quarters. They only produced two Canadians and one UK 10 pence.

I was skunked by 400 dimes.

I searched 320 nickels and found one War Time (1942P) and three Canadians. One of the Jeffersons I came across was a key, 1949S.

And lastly, I searched 400 pennies and found four Wheats, five Canadians, and one US dime. The Wheat varieties were:

1941, 1945, 1951D(2)

Found: 2 pennies (1 at the Mobil Mart, 1 in Weston Center), 2 dimes (at Sovereign Bank)

Don't worry I still plan on quitting my job and making crafts at home for big bucks!
